I am new to straight razor shaving and thinking about expanding my collection. What are your thoughts on this razor?

That looks like it is in very good condition. It'll depend on the price of course, but quality wise that is an 'A' brand razor.

I agree with what the others stated. If you can, try to get a look at the back as well. You never know what might be hiding.
