    Default traveller's strop and razor question

    Does anyone know anything about the Howard Strop co. #254 Traveller's Strop and razor kit. The razor is called Chip A Way. It says cutlery co. Germany on the blade. The handle is black.

    I've never heard of them but my solution to the problem has been to make my QuickStrops and to offer a mostly rehabilitated and highly honed razor (vintage) for $50. The razor is honed to 30000 grit on my Shaptons.

    thanks, do you know if these old razors a worth anything or is their a book on them? This kit is a leather box and its 1892 vintage.
