I can't find you the very important link ATM, but there is one somewhere, detailing which razors to stay away from. I do believe this brand is one of those.

OS: Thanks for the lightning-fast reply. I found the link and checked. Kamisori is not mentioned (which, of course, doesn't mean it shouldn't be). Their site says that is is made in Solingen, Germany, but it doesn't say the blade was forged there, which is why I was asking to see if anyone knew about these.

As you propably have read, there are a lot of Pakistani and Chinese manufacturers that assemble the razors in Germany just to take advantage of some sort of loop-hole... I suppose there is no harm in trying them out. One might be surprised... but I vote for keeping on the safe side and not wasting money on something that sounds oriental (not being japanese...) and has a Ooooo dragon on the blade... I say stay away from stuff that is bad-ass-wannabe, thus putting ferocious icons on the product.

Hmm, I could have sworn it was on there. I am sure I have read negative reviews about this company.

Read up everyone. That thread was started by Amy Kamisori who supposedly had a great interest in representing quality shavers. At the end of all those pages after very well respected members tried the razors, the overwhelming conclusion was quite negative IIRC.
