    Hi !!I ve just joined the forum!!!my name is Apostolis and i am from Greece!!
    I ordered yesterday a thiers Issard 6/8 snakewood with decorated back and a hooked nose!!

    Hello Apo,

    While I don't have that particular razor, I have one which is similar. I'm a great fan of Thiers Issard razors and I'll wager that this one will become a great favorite of yours.

    I have had one for the past 4 months and can attest to its wonderful shaving qualities. Its listed as 6/8s but is actually as large as a modern 7/8's TI that I have! It's full hollow with alot of heft that glides through my dense beard. Howver, like all new razors it must be honed to perfection. It will be disappointing with the factory edge. Its large size requires a skillful and experienced hand.

    Awesome looking razor!

    As has been said, you will definitely want to get it honed first before you try and shave with it. And you'll need a strop.
