    Default date my twins...

Could you tell what period this razor is from... I don't need the exact year, give me at least a decade

It says 70 1/2 on the tang...
    It's a 5/8 razor.

ive a similar friodur (different blade, same scales) that i think is 70's. So youre is probably similar vintage.

yours says 70 1/2 on the tang, mine says 50 1/2 on the tang - any idea what those numbers are?

Damn, it's really pretty but not what I was hoping for. I was thinking,"well, if you insist....just don't tell my wife"

IIRC the numbers are simply model number... "Hans... make another thousand 70 1/2 razors" and he knew what size, grind and finish level to make.

and by the way send It to me and I'll store it safely for you.

    Lightbulb

well judging by that pic the length of the blade is about 2.8 inches. and 70.5 millimeters is 2.775 inches. so you could just have a 5/8 inch by 70 1/2 millimeter blade on you razor. I could be totally off here...
