RAD No More
Hi my name is Rich and I am a razorholic. I have decided I have to stop trying to acquire more razors. While I have nowhere near the amount of razors held by some of the heavy hitters on the site. I can't seem to pass up bidding on any Dorko or TI I see. So far I have been lucky enough to be overbid but I am afraid one day I will bid the rent money. Then heads will roll, namely mine
I am hereby declaring I am razor buying free. At least until I hit ebay again.....

I'm currently discusted with ebay (nothing to do with razors) in general, so not a problem. However, the classifieds are killing me

I also wish you the best of luck. I had been doing really well at limiting myself to just 7 keepers, but then I got the Ebay bug again. Part of me is tempted to push 7 up to 10, and the other part of me is going broke.

Thanked: 9You can do it, Rich!
Seriously. Speaking from experience - I have not bought a new razor in many a month. Matter of fact, I need to pass along some more of mine. I have been able to dramatically reduce my numbers. Still above 7, but nowhere near my previous numbers.
On the other hand, I don't think that everyone should only have a few razors - for some people having more razors brings them pure joy (vs. feelings of guilt, in my case) - and if they can afford it: more power to them
Cheers
Ivo

I'm not buying any more ...... but I'm not buying any less either Kidding aside, I am much more selective in what I do buy. No run of the mill stuff anymore.
Back in the seventies I was collecting stag handled Case XX knives. I was showing one of my latest acquisitions to a co-worker and he said,"If you can't be satisfied with what you have, you will never be satisfied with what you get". I have found that this has been very true.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
