    Default Unknown brand to me.

Bought couple razors today at an Antique shop nearby. I could not find out any info on one of them and it's starting to bug me.

On one side it reads: N.Y.M.T.CO New York
Other side reads : THE LEADER

Anyone happen to have any info on this one?

    Thanks

I have seen two razors with the words 'The Leader' on them, but they were bothe by the German firm of Engels - both had fancy full bolsters on them with 'Leader' incorporated in them. I guess this one could be a retail piece made by Engels for the New York company?

Not sure, Will cross fingers someone else has also run across this name.. but if not it'll be the only mystery razor in my collection so far.

FWE produced a razor named "Leader". Not The Leader. The scales are fancy as FWEs tended to be. The reverse tang on any I have seen will be stamped FW Engels.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
