Thanked: 271How I stumbled over an NOS filarmonia 13 today
I'm taking a unisex hairdresser's course because I want to work part-time in a barber shop. So, I want to put my wife's hair in rollers but she says that before she goes under the drier bonnet, she wants those shells that protect your ears from the noise and heat. I go to a beauty supply store to buy them (Euro 2.00) and I mention that I'm going to school and that I want to give traditional barber shaves and the retired owner, who just happens to be in the store today, comes out to talk to me about the old days and it turns out that he has one old style razor left: an NOS 7/8 filarmonica 13. I told him it was worth more now but he was happy to sell it for what it was listed at, Euro 45.00 ($56.00 at today's exchange rate) instead of $200.99 plus shipping from classic shaving. Woo Hoo! Thanks to classic shaving for the picture because I don't have a camera.

Nice grab! And you're in the perfect country for old-style barbering.
