A shame he won't sell it to me but yes, lots of wedgey goodness in a nice little package. Only around 2.5" but great to shave with.

    Nice razors Jimmy.
How are you getting on with those Le Grelot razors?

Believe it or not I have never shaved with them. I will get around to them eventually. I tend to shave with razors that need work. I like to see the results of my honing. Those two came from Martin at Rasupur and were sharp when I received them. I have shaved with the B&B Le Grelot but that one needed a helluva lot of honing when I got it.

Any one heard of William Wood as a razor maker ???
Not made in France but Liverpool. Fits the other criteria tho. If its not Ivory it's a good imitation.
I love the graceful curves of this razor, very artfully made!

I think it fits LSBFW's criterion nicely.

    I thank you.
Does anyone else like this type of razor then?
I have a razor that I think is perfect
    Here it is

    this is what I like.
It's only flaw is it isn't French.
    It's a fine shaver though.

Looks very similar (blade wise) to this: http://straightrazorpalace.com/galle...ic-scales.html

I will be selling it once honed although I think Doc has first choice when I set a price. It also isn't french. I also have a Genco that looks like the blade in post #9 I think. It is almost done being restored. Just whenever I feel like finishing it! Obviously also not French.

That is a beauty M. I love that sort of razor but then again I haven't seen too many that I didn't like. Just some more then others.
