I just got one 9/16 full hollow round point with black scales in good condition.

1832-1966. They were makers of all types of cutlery. The New York firm Wester Bros. imported goods manufactured by Wester&Butz. The trademark "Anchor, Star and Arrow" is the original trademark of Wester&Butz.
Yes, this is a good razor.

Don't know about Wester & Butz, but the four Wester Bros razor I've had have been good to excellent (the singing De-Fi is really nice).

Westers don't seem to have a cult following so you can pick them up on ebay pretty cheap.

A good brand for a newbie to learn to hone on.

The owner of Wester & Butz was August Wester, the owners of Wester Bros. were his sons Charles and Max Wester.
    They did very decent razors.

Here is a picture of the actual razor. Picture is ugly because of lousy light source
But the blade and the markings are clearly visible. Spine has very little hone wear, the scales are scratched but nothing serious. The worst thing is a middle pin (one which holds the blade) which is slightly bent.

The blade looks be in great shape, the scales could use some work, but hey, they're not important anyway.

Is it just the angle of the pic or does that razor look more like a 5/8 or 11/16, than it does a 9/16?

Yes, the blade is in great shape - almost like new, it has only one light rust spot near the heel. Now I'm looking for some pin material, after I find something useful I will polish and re-pin the scales.

    It's 14.5 mm. If I calculated correctly that's near 9/16".
