Thread: Art of Shaving TI Edition experiences?

I was wondering if anyone has used the AOS TI edition razors...how does this blade compare to other 'official' TI razors? Is the quality the same? Anything I should know before ordering one?

Furthermore, the black scales are plastic correct? how would one characterize the feel of the scales? Are they ~flimsy like some DOVO razor scales I have encountered or more solid?

I haven't had the privilege to use a TI before and this must come to an end, but would this be a good TI to start with or is there another one that would be better?

The scales are the same (good quality) as other plastic-handled TIs. I believe the blade is the same as the new Silverwings. I started a thread on this very razor here.
