    Default Ain't it Great!!!

How many times have you worked a blade from the Norton to a coticule to the strop and tried it out only to find out you have to go at it again. Ain't it great when the extra few laps make a hundred year old shaver 'good to go'. Damn fantastic!!!!

I just got a hundred-ish year old EA Berg frameback from eBay. Cleaned it, stropped it and shaved with it! I did give it 4 laps on my Honemaster just to get the heel up to snuff with the rest of the blade, but what a payoff for a little work.
