Thread: Hero and De-Fi

Has anybody had any luck with the Hero? Mine is an extra hollow ground. Stainless, I think. Built in smile. Tang says 'The Hero Razor' 'Fully Warranted' or something along those lines. The other side says MADE IN GERMANY. It's got plastic, I'm guessing, bamboo scales? It seems like a really 'stiff' blade, too. I like the feel of it, it seems almost hollow. The problem is, I can get it sharp and shave about half of my face with it, but that's about all it's good for. I can't seem to refresh it on just the strop and find myself going back to the hone.

Also, I can't find any info on a De-Fi razor I have. It is probably stainless and has a 34 on the tang. It shaves well enough, but I was wondering what the original size would have been. It's probably down to 4/8 or less by now.
