    My last :

For now I've cut the scales that were too long.
I started cleaning the blade and stopped (now I regret what I've removed), because I loved the patina.

    Thanks RayG

My first was a spanish 5/8 that I bought from a long gone Cutlery shop in Southampton.U.K.
I didnt buy a strop or any kind of sharpening kit & I couldnt get any kind of shave from it .That was about 1970.& my latest is a mint Cmon blackie that I got from Lynn & Don .
I am considering try a 4/8 blade again & I'm just trying to make my mind up.Paul
