crappy razor?
Got this from ebay,
Keen Kutter Straight Razor Simmons Hardware
Anyone got some experience with similar? Could it be a desent shaver?

Razors of that age are pretty much always capable of becoming good shavers. The guys using them had no other alternatives for stubble removal & a razor manufacturer producing blades that couldn't "cut it" would have not survived. Nice buy, & indeed, a bargain!

Simmons didn't actually make razors, as far as I know; rather, they imported them. I've seen English and German ones, and I've never had a bad experience or heard anything bad about them. Sounds like you got quite the deal.

Thanked: 155Yes, it can be a very good shaver. You got a good deal. anything with the Keen Kutter logo is somewhat of a collectible and usually does not go for such a low price.
