    Question french point stainless

    Hi,

    Anybody knows of a French point, 5/8, stainless steel blade, razor ? All I see are spikes and round points.

    Find a stainless blade you like in square pint and round the point off yourself on a hone. You will not be limited in brand or style if you round your own french point. I prefer to keep all my blades with the original point as I received them but I am syre many of the french points I have were rounded off by a precious owner. Roung the point cutting edge down. If you want the french piont sharp then hone an edge on the round end only. Lastly blend the bevel in with the rest of the edge.
