NOS Friodur Arrives!
Hello Fella's,
My Henckels arrived today!
It's an 8/8" Spanish point with a scalloped spine. It's now honed, stropped & ready to go!
The scales are shockingly bad & it doesn't even centre correctly, but it's sat there in the photo on a nice piece of Ebony that i have to remedy that.
Just wanted to let someone know!

beautiful blade. If you don't want the scales, send them to me! I'll try to straighten them out and put something in them. That scalloped Friodur is on my list. How did you get that NOS? Again, just beautiful.

Wow, thats a great deal! Let us know how it shaves.I don't have any baldes wider then 6/8, and really want at least one big bad razor.Maby this could be it...

I haven't received mine yet but I can already tell you. It's a Friodur so that means it will be a great shaver!

Oh, that's nice Kristofferbodvin!
Just tried a shave with it, & cstewart's amazing shave cream. It's fantastic! Skin feels very comfortable & I love the noise. It's so loud! Probably because it's so hollow & so big. Been using a nice, heavy wedge recently, but this made a refreshing change. The price is good, as long as you're prepared to change the scales, as they ruin an otherwise lovely razor.

unless yours is on steroids and mine shrunk in transit better measure your blade because mine turned out to be 7/8 and not 8/8. I did contact the seller as to why the difference and I'm still waiting for an answer.
Still an awesome blade and shaver.
