New guy here and have a question on what I noticed some folks talking about a good starter razor.
I have a few straights -
Boker red injun -(that I got off e-bay with a chip in the blade.Used the bread cutting tech. to take chip out! WHEW!!!!! Took me forever to hone the edge on a stone then a spydeco hone then a strop to get it to pass the HHT)
DOVO 6/8 bought brand new.
Both blades give a good shave (Getting better shaves as I work on my shaving skills)
What I want to know is what's considered a starter razor?
And is there better razors than the Boker and Dovo's?
