    Default salamander

    Hey all, I'm new to straight shaving and am looking into getting a starter straight. Does anyone know the value and quality of Salamander wedge straights? Would one be practical for a starter? (I have some experience with straights, I currently have a 'shavette' type straight that takes DE blades). Thanks for any and all help!

    Well I have one I need to clean up and hone to respond on the shaving quality. I also did a search and was not able to find out anything at SRP about collectability except that there are a couple of folks here that seem to like as they are looking for them.
