    Default Razors in NYC

Hi, Anyone know of anywhere in NYC that sells straight razors? I called some antique shops and searched but no luck. If any info can be given I would appreciate it. Thanks

IIRC, there is an Art of Shaving store in NYC. They carry a few TI razors, don't they?

Yeah, AOS is the only place I know of that carries razors. You also might want to check for a Victorinox store. The one up in White Plains carries Dovo razors. In either case, don't rely on anything the staff tells you - they just don't really know what they're talking about.

For shave soaps, creams, brushes, scents, etc., check out Cambridge Chemists and Pasteurs Pharmacy up in the 60s on Lex. They are a little more expensive, but I figure if we like having them around, we need to support them as best we can...

Please report if you find any others that do carry straights!

Last time I was in Pasteur's there were several straights in the front display case. Prices were a bit high and the pleasant young lady was clueless.

I actually live in NJ and theres an AOS in the mall 5 min from my house just looking for some different stuff. I was going to check out Cambridge/Pasteurs on Monday when I get out of class I read about them before in another thread. Thanks for the help.
