Livi 7 day set.
I found these sets on his website.Anyone knows if thats the Livi new grinds? Sure look similar, and if that is the case the price seems steep,to say the least...

The blades do look like the newgrinds. I'd like to know more about these, though. A Livi 7-day set...nice way to shave your way through a week!

How much are these sets?
The second set has inlaid scales (maybe ivory?). That would certainly add to the price. Also, as I recall, he does some additional work on the spines to identify the individual razors in the set (ie 1 inlay for Mon, 2 for Tues, etc).
Beautiful razors in any case.Last edited by Bill S; 12-09-2008 at 07:42 PM.

Yes gents, its two nice looking sets.
This is the first:Weekly (7 razors) with on the spine the name of the days in English. Carbon steel Pinin handle in bois de rose
This is the second:Weekly with carbon steel blades and bosso wood handles.
The price is 2040 euro for both sets.
My point is that if these are new grinds, the price for each would be around 291 euro.Wich is coniderably more per razor than what straightrazordesigns sell them for.
That doesn't meen I wouldn't buy one if I could afford it....

There are only day markings on the first set, the second tell the days by the inlays..

Theres enough goodies on this site to make your head spin
Also, notice the significant price variations on the custom blades, compered to straightrazordesigns.

Oh great....now I "need" a custom Livi, too. That site is even more appetite-whetting than SRD!
