yea, every new razor Joel gets is the best in the world and he seems to get razors like I buy groceries.

Its a nice design for a display razor but its a little too avant garde for my tastes.

It actually came through on my RSS reader from a design site I subscribe to. It was very unexpected:

Apparently, Warner makes very few razors a year as he only does it for a hobby. The bird wing is truly gorgeous and it looks like it would be highly maneuverable. From everything I read about him, it seems as though yellow cake uranium is slightly more available.

    Truly unique and great work!

I tested several of these a couple years ago. They are very pretty, but I felt like I was shaving with a pocket knife.

I'm sure it is a joy to shave with and it probably gives outstanding shaves.

You know you just gave me an idea. I have a Bertram Hen and Rooster pocket knife with a hollow grind blade. Maybe I can sell it to Joel as a straight and make a fortune.

Is it possible to make really unusual shaped blade with a spine that you could clip on to the razor whilst honing and remove during shaving - it could make for some very interesting designs.

I know Livi has done that for a razor with abalone spine inlays or something. The point is- the shape of the blade would have to be conducive to a spine following the curvature of the edge IMO.
