Thanked: 5two nice razors FS
if anyone is interested in either razor please email me at philiopoilopoli AT gmail DOT com
I found two razors in an antique store I am willing to buy and ship them to you (you just reimburse me for my cost for the razor and shipping/insurance). neither razor should be more than $25Canadian. the guy seemed willing to negotiate especially if I buy more than one.
The first is a bengall razor (some hone wear on the spine) generally in good shape. scales are fine AFAIK. blade had some etching on it (some design, and the company name) and I think it is a 4/8.
the other is a W&B wedge at about 6/8 i think. the scales are tortise I think, with a metal inlay in the middle of each. One scale is broken at the pivot pin. see photo (sorry for the focus, I think you get the gist)
Neither razor shows and major problems with the steel. no chips, or signifigant pitting.

Very nice of you to offer. If I hadn't just come out of HAD withdraw I would tale you up on it, but thanks.

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure this is against the forum rules. If you are selling razors, you should post it in the classifieds, not in the forums proper.

Shout out to philiopoilopoli ...
Well, I bought the Wade & Butcher wedge pictured above, and it arrived last week. The seller wanted (ONLY!) Ca$20 for it. The razor needs new scales, and the blade needs some minor sanding and polishing, but it is an absolute beaut.: a 13/16" wedgie. I am guessing it is pre-1892, because the country of origin is not included in the stamp (it only says "Sheffield").
Nice work, Matt! Thanks again!!!
