    Default Trusteel Razor Question

    I purchase two razors from a barber in 1970. One of them, made of Solingen German silver steel I used almost exclusively for about 20 years. The other I thought of as lesser razor had only "TRUSTEEL" stamped on the shank. It looks today as if it had never been sharpened and since I found this forum I did a search. I only found one reference and that was in 2006 as one of 17 razors on a giveaway program.

    Anyone know what I have? Is it a quality razor?

    Hi Kopykat,
    I purchases a TruSteel Razor myself a few months ago and can't find any information on it. I found one place that said it was a German Brand that could have been purchased by a larger company. Not much to go on and no hard evidence of that being true. My TruSteel razor is beautiful and shaves very well. I put up some pics on a thread sometime ago.
