Default 2 Razors in the mail

Got a couple in the mail yesterday. One is a John Nesbitt Sheffield England in the box. It is in real good shape with a pewter or lead wedge. The only thing is the blade has some chipping in it that will require some honing to get out. I don't think it was ever sharpened or stropped for that matter. Real nice though. The other is an Imperial Patented NY. It was badly rusted with pitting in some replacement faux ivory scales with a floral motif. It was a re scale and a bad job at that. It was also a square point at one time of it's life and the point was ground off at an angle. I have sanded and buffed the blade a bit and rounded the angled point so as to not look so crazy. Due to the amount of pitting I opted for a mild buff job showing some of the older wear and character. Now for some scales and some micro fasteners. I actually have a piece of black walnut I'm thinking about. Oh yeah these 2 cost me 500 230gr. 45 ACP cast bullets.

Update..... Just got done honing the chips out of the Nesbitt on an India stone. Then went to a diamond (grit unknown) then to a coarse Arkansas, then a fine Arkansas. Finished the honing and went to homemade paddle treated with Flitz polish, many laps on this. Then went to homemade untreated strop for about 100 laps. Stopped and pulled a hair out of the wife's brush and it popped it with authority! All down the length of the blade. It actually had a little "ring" to it when it popped the hair. The razor also had a ring to it when honing it as well. This sucker is ready to go. May just shave today with it. (I think this razor actually was honed and used) I know that the HHT is not the be all end all for shave ready, but I do believe it indicates a very sharp razor. Here's some pics: The Imperial is on the left.
