Default any central texas straight razor retailers?

i am on vacation in austin texas. will drive to san antonio or maybe a little further for a good selection of choice razors. any suggestions for blade or store? i got a dovo as a gift and love it. unfortunately i dont hone well so am looking for a back up while i send the other in for honing. mine is carbon steel mix. might try a stainless. dont know tho. any thoughts, suggestions, store locations would be appreciated. i know the art of shaving has a location in san antonio but their inventory looks to only contain 5 blades to chose from. i also looked on the classifides on this site but dont know enough to make an informed descision about the worth of a certain blade. basically i want a nice back up razor to be purchased in person in central texas for under $200 again any info would be helpful.

You would be hard pressed to go wrong shopping the classifieds of SRP!

my thing is if i am in a store and see prices of brand new merchandise, i could look it up online and see how much it is worth. i have only been shaving w/ a straight for about 5 months now and only know of a few manufacturers. most on the classifides here i have never heard of. also most say they arent shave ready. i am looking for a good brand name and a good deal. i am sure that people in this community arent shiesty as people on e-bay, but i dont know what is a good deal on a used straight. if someone here is selling one for $100 and it sells for $130 new, i would rather buy new. basically i dont know how much they go for and logic tells me that if a straight has been on this site for sale for a while and no one else has bought it, then its either not worth the money or there is some other reason it hasnt sold. i am basically clueless and dont want to deal w/ potentially being ripped off.

hay i'm in waco.... nothing here though. you should call barber shops in austin and i bet you'd get some info that way...or try the yellow pages. you should check out aquarena springs in san marcos - huge springs. there used to be sort of an amusement park but it's not functioning anymore. if it was summertime i'd say go to the schlitterbahn and guadalupe river in new braunfels. austin is like the coolest city in texas.
