Thanked: 1An Amazing Razor!
Hello,
Just yesterday I received my first I guess you could call it my first old fashioned straight razor. I have used a feather straight razor for years with the disposable blades. I have always enjoyed it and got a great shave. When I decided to go to straight razor, after some research I happened upon this forum. I can't thank you enough. Because of my research here I found about about Robert Williams and his razors at CustomStraightRazors.com . The razor that I receieved from Robert not only was a work of art but the shave was incredible! I live in the Dominican Republic and we use a shipping agency in Florida to get our cargo and mail. Usually it takes a month to get most of our stuff but from the time that I ordered it from Robert I had my custom made razor inside of the month! To make a long story short, I received my razor yesterday afternoon. I am quite proficient with my razor and always receive a nice shave from it so I was a little nervous about using my new razor. It is the best shave that I have ever had. I don't know if it is because of the weight, the sharpness of the blade, angle or a combination of all of these but the shave made my face smoother. I know that might sound stupid but it was as smooth as a baby's bottom so to speak. I have nine children so I have felt lots of baby bottoms and I know a baby bottom when I feel one. If you are looking for a new razor you really ought to take a look at Robert's website. Please look at some of these photos and give me your opinion. Thank you again for all of your help in finding my razor!

What a beautiful razor and it was a joy to read your post. I have raised 5 girls and I have 5 grandchildren and I thoroughly believe you when you say that you are an expert on baby bottoms! Enjoy the razor and enjoy your children, they grow up fast!

Thanked: 324Thanks for the kind words. I felt like it was a real stroke of fortune that you happend to get in touch with me at one of the few times I have a blade available on hand that isn't spoken for. I wish I could get everyone a razor as quickly. It was really nice to talk to you and I wish you all the best in your most worthwhile endeavor as a missionary in the Dominican Republic. God bless!

Congratulations ! Looks like a beauty.
Could only be better if you had 2...The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 267Very beautiful! The razor that you have purchased is obviously going to give you a lot better service than a disposable can offer, it just isn't a fair comparison. Mr. Williams does outstanding work and anybody who has 9 children deserves a nice shave once in a while..
Take Care,and enjoy
