Thanked: 5Wildlife Bear Razor
Anyone have any experience with the Wildlife Bear Razo from Tomahawk USAr? I bought one from because of the design but was wondering about it's shaving qualities and whether it would be worth my while to get it honed and ready for shaving.

I don't have any personal experience with them, but I think it's a safe bet to say they are probably around the same quality as Zeepk. When I search ebay, I filter out "tomahawk."
I'm sorry to say it, but I think you've wasted money on it (unless you wanted it to display or use as a letter opener or some such).

But come on...It's got to be good to shave a bear!

Thanked: 13247I would have bet against them ever being shaveable but there is one new member here using his....
I would have bet against a Double Arrow being shaveable too, but they can be made to shave...
Basically many of these razors being sold on e-bay are either Paki or Chinese, the Paki ones so far, have across the board, never been found to be shaveable, where as the Chinese we have found the Double Arrow so far....
Now would I buy one to test out this theory???? NOPE.....
But I will make this offer, if somebody has one of these Tomahawk razors and wants to pay the shipping (both ways) I will test it out on the hones NO CHARGE....and see if I can get an edge to stick....Last edited by gssixgun; 01-11-2009 at 05:10 PM.

Thanked: 5Thanks for the input. I'm not surprised and was under no illusions when i bought the thing. I bought it mainly for the decorative aspects. gssixgun, I have a few other priorities now but maybe in a few months I'll take you up on your offer and send you the blade to see what it turns out like, just for the fun of it.
Thanks.
