My New Chandler
Got this from Straight Razor Designs which I got to add was great service, e-mail updates on status and shipping with tracking number provided and also they threw in some free samples, In addition I ordered another straight razor from them that I had questions about before ordering so I called them as I wanted a quicker answer then I thought I might get through e-mail, I got a return call quickly and my questions were answred. I hope to post that beauty later today or later in the week.
This is a Joe Chandler 7/8' Damascus with worked spine and Purple Heart scales, my photo does not do this razor justice, some of the blur is necessary as it is a very shiny razor even the damascus so I had to have some blur to show off the beautiful patterning. It is just over an inch longer then most standard size Dovo's yet the balance is perfect as is the shave.

That is a beauty and I love the thumb notch on the underside of the tang. Smooth shaving with that one.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 735WOW.
That thumbnotch would make a Helje jealous! I love the this almost delicate look to the tang mated to the serious-business damascus blade.
Please also post a shave review!
Very nice work, Mr. Chandler!

the first shave was very good all I did was strop then shave, no pulling or tugging, unlike any other razors I have including Zowada Damascus which has its own feel this too has it's own feel, not a tin feeling or that of a hollow but not that of a wedge either more like something in between. I did a few laps on pasted paddle and the second shave was even better
some better pics for you all to enjoy
