    Default Can anyone tell from these photos...

    ...whether the apparent wear to the blade backs and tangs can this be restored? The points and blade edges all seem quite clean and clear, same with the gold etching. It would be nice to have the backs look bright as well. Photos here. I believe gold wouldn't tarnish, so it must be wear, yes?

    Gold wash won't tarnish or corrode, but it does come off easily.

    The razors look great, and if I were tghe owner of them I'd simply polish the spines of the razors, as that WOULD REMOVE THE GOLD WASH (just warning you!), but that would leave a uniform shiny steel.

    Nice looking razors.
