The edge on that one is with 99% chance in shave ready state out of the box, the Le Grelot from EJ, from most vendors, needs to be honed before use, which you'll have to send it out to have done. Or you could order some stones for the price of about the same as the razor and start learning how to do it, pricier, might not do the trick the first time (it take a while to learn apperantly), might ruin your new razor, but better in the long run. Personally I'm going with option B atm, but if you live in the states or canada, consider having it done by someone who knows honing.

If you have the money, you're probably going to be happier with the Elliot for starters.
