Thread: Blade Recommendation

Hello Ladies

I am wondering what a good DE blade for my wife would be if she wanted to try her leg at shaving.

I started off with a Gillette Fat boy that I picked up at an antiques store. I know Merkur makes new DE's as well as a couple of other companies. For the blades themselves I use the Isreali personna's, although I don't recall what site that JoeD got the blades from. my girlfriend uses a gillette blue star and really likes it, she tried my Fatboy and didn't mind it but preferred the longer handle of the blue star. my mom uses a Weishi and likes it but finds it very mild, about even with the superspeed she had before. they both use Gillette Platinum stainless blades as that is all they sell around here. i let my g/f try some Derbys and Dorcos i had and she didn't notice a difference. i did when i used them on my face but oh well.
