Thread: Is this any good?

I found a person who's selling a "Kayser Ellison & Co’s Best Sheffield Silver" something something razor... I just want a razor to practice honing on later on a bit, and that can actually be turned into a shaveable instrument. I am not familiar with this brand of steel/blade. Anyone who has more info? The owner has no more info but this text, which is written on the little handle.

Any info is more then welcome.

Assuming there is no horribly unever wear, cracks in the blade, or other such damage, it should turn into a shaver. I've never had a Sheffield razor come into my possession that was a bad shaver.

If you could post some pics, that would be helpful.
