I figured the frown was negligible; to me it looked like an uneven bevel rather than an actual frowning edge and the uneven bevels are about as common on old wedges as horn scales are (pretty much the norm).
I'm glad it looks like you'll be able to bring it back!

Chris your right the bevals awfull and so is the pic! In hand it dont look as bad but it is very uneaven the other side has alot LESS wear. Im going to clean it up with hand sanding ...polish the hell out of it with the buffer take it to the Nortons and if nothing els I will put it in the case. Old 1800's aint my thing but for 5$ I figured it could be put in display if nothing els.

For $5.00 you can lose for trying. I'd say lay on about four layers of tape on the spine and try to set a bevel on your 200. The tape will probably wear so replace the worn layer it until you get up to 4000. It should do okay then. If you want to put the smile back in it, use a sweeping stroke on the stones.

A little info about a Karl Muller born in Germany in 1820 and some of his work:

I know it says Mueller, but his work was inscribed with "K. Muller" as on the razorFind me on SRP's official chat in ##srp on Freenode. Link is at top of SRP's homepage
