C-mon new or vintage?
So I've been reading alot about these c-mon razors and hear great things. However, some have said there is a difference between the new c-mon razors and the vintage razors. How can you tell? I found an old school barber supply store that has a few c-mons for sale. The guy there was saying how they don't make them anymore and the few left are the last of them. They are imported by peter michaels and have never been used. One is a blackie and the other is a c-mon fromm. Can anyone spare some knowledge? Thanks

I would say if you can get the vintage ones that's the way to go. However those that have bought the new ones seem to like them.

I would like a vintage, so is there a way to tell if its new or vintage? I'm wondering if this shop has just had them for so long. Maybe production dates would be helpful. The scales are black with silver ornate inlay on the blackie and the other is cream colored with gold inlays. I would imagine the c-mon fromm is new but it definately looks vintage to me at least. I don't really know enough to tell. Thanks again

Ya, I was reading that but it didn't really answer my question though. Unless I just overlooked it. Also they want $85 each so I dont want to spend that on something thats not what I think it is
