Would that be a WAMS razor? wams1652
Looks like a very practical item, how is it in use?

You seem to have the essential gear covered.

Does the strop stay flat when you unroll it? I try to keep mine flat just about all the time, it's supposed to be better for it.

The strop is great. And yes it goes completely flat has a few nicks at the end but the don't get in the area where I strop. I must say it is been the best thing for my deployment in Iraq it took a hell of a beating being cramed everywhere. And what does WAMS mean. And it is very practical the reason I bought it it works great me being a newb to this scene its got to be a great starter.

When I bought the razor I thought it was a unique style but now it seems to be more common than what I expected. Smyte why do you say you have been looking for one like mine. I went after this razor seeing I am a marine and so it seemed perfect

Nice travel set, should work well, but I was thinking that you might want to include a small barber's hone for touch ups when you get to the point your strop won't quite do it for your edge. You might be able to get one that,s been lapped already from the classifieds or a generous member. Also, thank you for your service.

I believe they are not very common, especially one in such good condition as yours, They turn up from time to time on eBay but I am always out bid (maybe my max is not high enough...lololol).
Did you get it off eBay? If you know where else I can find one please point me in the right direction my friend.

    Thanks.
