    I'm very sad to report that the razor is gone. Someone at my friend's shop in Japan mistakenly sold the razor on Yahoo Japan auctions. To say I'm disappointed would be a huge understatement.

    That is disappointing. Just curious, how much did it bring ?

    About $95 shipped. Yahoo Japan doesn't get nearly as much exposure as eBay so that definitely made the price be lower.

    Very sad indeed. And at that price I would have picked it up

    also there are probably not all that many people in japan interested in western type straight razors.
    i am not sure but i think these auctions are not worldwide like ebay.
    that was nice score.
