Thanked: 0Bud K
I reeived a Bud K straight razor as a gift. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere. Is it a "real" staight razor that I should try to hone or should it be listed along with others on the list of "Straight Razors to Avoid" in the Wiki?

if you are referring to budk.com it appears they sell quite a range of straights from rebranded Dovo's which is obviously a good razor to a Tomahawk straight for $10 which about says it all , perhaps see what you can match up your razor to if it is on there site or pictured as a Dovo somewhere hopefully the latter

Thanked: 0My cheapo camera does not take good close ups. I contacted Bud K and the response from them was that this item is a a "replica" of a razor (cheap weapon?) and not meant for shaving.
From Bud K:

This is more of a replica of a shaving razor and is not meant to
shave with.
