Default Big Price tag on this +ERBO+

Was there something special about this Joseph Wostenholm ERBO (item # 150322323873) or was there a high degree of bid frenzy that is not explainable?

Perserverance Works? Is this what drove the price so high?

    Any body have any thoughts?

    Woah!!!

There must've been at least 2 people who REALLY wanted that razor, that's the only explanation I can think of. The seller must be happy though!

FYI, the link didn't work, hopefully this one will Joseph WOSTENHOLM EBRO 8/8 Straight Razor shave ready! - eBay (item 150322323873 end time Jan-27-09 18:43:19 PST)

Love that blade without the deeeep pitting.Like StraightRazorDave says there must have been a bidding war over it.It happens that way sometimes.I just sold some pretty average razors, two of which I hoped to get $50 or over. One went for $168 and one for$228.No reason.Just two stubborn people(or more). The bids just kept going up and my smile kept getting wider.
