I've got that on my list of "good" brands, but I don't exactly remember where I got the information.

Horstator razors are very good straight razors. I only have two non carbon steel razors in my collection - a 8/8 Friodur and a 5/8 Horstator. I think, that says all.
Until now, I dont had the chance to get a carbon steel Horstator in my hands, but I´m sure they also will be great.

Horstator was the international brand from the Solingen Company Hörster. Actually the brand name is at wsh cutlery --> wsh cutlery

I had one a couple of years back. It had really soft steel it practically shed on the hones. It took and edge nicely but needed to be touched up more often than others.

In hindsight, I'm not sure why I sold it. But I don't know that I'd buy another based on this one.

I have one which is great looking (same as one shown in above post) and is a fine shaver. I usually give it 5 passes on CrO pasted strop before regular stropping and it is always up to snuff. Good balance and top & bottom jimps make it easy handling for a largish round point, even around my mustache.
