Thanked: 1Full Wedge for shaving
I have a G. Wostenholm IXL with a full wedge blade. Iv've been using a hollow ground blade since I've been using a straight razor. Is there a differnce in the shave quality when compairing a hollow ground blade to a wedge blade?
I plan on sending this blade to Lynn to make shave ready.

In my experience, there is a difference in the "qualities" brought by each razor, not that one gives you a better shave. The heavier grinds are very stiff and give the impression of mowing through heavy whiskers. For the same reason, they don't give you much tactile feedback, and this can feel a little disconcerting.
I like using both, but I don't like wedges for daily shaving when my beard is little more than stubble. If I've gone a couple days without a shave, the wedges feel like they're wiping my face clean like a squeegie.
YMMV. Try it and see how you like it.

Jordan, that sums up my feelings very very well on the subject.
I tend to shave my Monday shave (or sSunday night) with a big old wedge. Most of the week I shave with a Dovo full hollow for the lighter stubble.
