    Default Started Straight

    Great site:

I am looking at getting a starter straight and wanted some opinions on which to purchase something that is not very expensive.

    Appreciate all feedback

    Thanks

Look through the classified section here. There's a tab for it on top of all pages. There are usually a few inexpensive razors of good quality, shave ready honed by members here who won't steer you wrong. Also,KenRup,a member here sells shave ready new razors for a good price.

You are going to need the following at a minimum:

    1. Shave ready razor
    2. Strop (hanging is best, a paddle will work)
    3. Shave cream/soap (personal preference)
    4. Brush (less than $10 to obscene prices)

    Default Hello

Hello I live in Frederick Maryland right up the rOAD FROM YOU!

I have a good brush and plenty of creams! I have been shaving with a de for some time but want to make the jump to straight. What do you think about using straights?
