They dealt in all types of cutlery.

I had one once; a 6/8 full hollow. She took a hell of an edge.

Better late than never...
German manufacturer for FINEDGE OSTISO N.Y.C. was Peter Altenbach & Söhne SCHWANENWERK (SWAN WORKS) in Ohligs-Solingen.
I recently got one very old ORIENT RAZOR of them:
A typical 5/8in Square of FINEDGE OSTISO looked like this one:

I had one recently, seemed to be very nice quality, honed easily, shaved great.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.
