Thanked: 1Help Identifying Razors
Hello all,
I have three razors, all of which I am having a hard time identifying the age, and relative worth, and history of. They are as follows, Le Grelot hospital, Fenney with a fox (doesn't say tallyho), and a Wade & Butcher.
These images will probably be more help than I am:

I can't do age for you, but this is about what I would pay or reasonably expect them to go for "as is":
- Thiers: $50-$70. Well respected maker. Looks like it has little hone wear, but has bit of patina and black spotting. Possibly a chip near the tip of the blade.
- Cleaned up, nice shiny scales and sharpened >$100.
- W&B and Fenney: $30-$50. I've never heard of Fenney, but it is Sheffield steel which is good. Neither are large (which for some reason draws extra $$) and both have some funny hone wear.

Thanked: 1Thanks for the speedy response, and im glad to hear that I didn't pay too much. As of now all that I know is that the F. Fenney company apparently only existed in the 1830's to 50's, and that the Grelot needs a big time overhaul. The Wade & Butcher has no real "model" name or number.
Any additional information is greatly appreciated, how they shave, etc.

Wade & Butcher and Le Grelot, about these companies at the forum it is written a lot. F.Fenney is very old and good firm. The firm existed 1824-1852 in Sheffield.
