    Default Joseph Rodgers 5/8 Wedge?

Well, I picked up this little fella off ebay a bit back because it had a very interesting shape. I cleaned it up a bit. It has some pitting that wont come out without removing a ton of material, but once it hits the hone I think it should be a good little travel razor. Has anybody out there ever seen such a razor? I cant seem to find any information on a Joe Rodgers like this. Thanks for any info!

beautiful razor! Funny, it seems like there is always some kind of razor we've never seen... it never ends does it

God bless the makers for making fourteen zillion different kinds of razors for us to collect!

Thanks guys, I hope it shaves well. I think its going to be a bear to hone. But I look forward to using it. It should be very maneuverable!

    Hey Propjockey,

I have a Wade & Butcher I got from ebay a few months ago that looks almost exactly like yours. (Excuse the ebay "before" pic but I can't post how it looks now).

It cleaned and honed up nicely, and shaves like a dream!! I am sure yours will perform well.

Nice style to this razor and you cleaned it up good. There are a few guys here that would bring that baby to a mirror shine but I am not one of them. I don't have that much patients. Enjoy your shaves with it!

Thanks for the compliments guys. mrbhagwan, I agree they are very similar. Always glad to see another old rust stick cleaned up and made to be a great shaver!
