Thread: Is this a genuine Boker?

I got this razor on Ebay, H. Boker Straight Razor - eBay (item 270336542549 end time Feb-03-09 19:21:13 PST) and it doesn't look like other Bokers I've seen online. It's obviously been rescaled, there's a stamp on the tang that says H Boker & Co, but there's no tree logo, and nothing on the reverse side of the tang. It's a 4/8 or 9/16, and has jimps on the top of the tang at the pivot pin. The box it came with is a Boker box.

Any ideas if this is a real Boker, or if a no-name razor had been stamped with Boker's name? Or if I was lucky enough to get a razor that predates the Tree logo
