    Hello and Welcome to SRP AussieMate,

    Looks like a Gotta to me! I think the writing you cannot make out is "Hamburg Ring". As Old_School says, they are nice shavers.

    Yours looks like it could do with a bit of a clean up. Perhaps try a little Autosol car polish and see what that does. You will definitely lose any goldwash that is left if you do this, however.

    I am not a restorer, but I am happy to hone that for you, gratis, if you can get it cleaned up to your satisfaction.

    Otherwise, there are a lot of excellent restorers here on the forums who will also hone it for you, I am sure.
