    I had similar problems with my Dovo, I think I had overhoned it.
    I ran it lightly across the wooden part of a pencil tip to remove any wire edge (not sure if that was really necessary) then rehoned it fairly lightly. I made a decision to not constantly rehone it in pursuit of a perfect edge, and instead I started stropping on leather more. Lo and behold the shave got better and better each time I used it.

    As yours fails the TPT that definitely needs fixing before you turn to stropping though.
