It's a "custom" razor, that's why it costs so much... remember you get what you pay for.

At the very least, it could be a showpiece for a collector. If you're not going to shave with it, who cares if it works.
Note: I do not advocate or support pure collecting in any way, shape, or form. Razors need faces just as much as faces need razors.

I think this thing is more sad than anything else. He could have used a Double Arrow blade and create a real straight razor without changing production costs significantly.
Instead we have this pitiful joke.

The only thing good about that razor is the spine. I like the pattern. Looks like futuristic runway markers. The rest of it may only be worth $2.55.

It's not my taste but many here have paid much more for custom razors. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Should the blade be well made, it may be a fair value.
