    Default TLC & a good clean up

    Hello all,
    Since joining this forum i have amassed over 20 straight razors and i have 3 that need new scales.
    The beauty of it all apart from their history is that cleaning and polishing can transform a straight back to it's former glory.This Straight is my favourite as it has Newcastle on...my birthplace.
    Unfortinately i am out of the country in 3 weeks time but plan to refurb all 20+ and get new scales for the 3.

    That razor should clean up real easy,as it's in real good shape.Hope it shaves as good as it looks.You might want to invest in a pair of cut-proof gloves if you intend refurbing 20 razors.That can add up to lots of cuts if you will be hand-sanding,or even if you will be using a dremel.Good luck,I think you're hooked.
